For US K-12 teachers planning a move out of the classroom
Turn classroom work into résumé language employers recognize
Get the free Teacher → Corporate Résumé Translation Sheet: a printable, one-page table that maps everyday teaching tasks to the wording used in corporate job posts.
- 24 common teaching tasks with neutral corporate phrasing
- Notes on adding your own numbers, and only claiming what you actually did
- Plus a weekly email: roles at companies whose own job posts ask for teaching experience, each with a source link and the date we checked it
What we track
We research public job posts and company pages and keep a tracker of companies whose own postings ask for teaching or classroom experience. Every entry links to its source and shows the date we last checked it. Job posts close often, so we hide an entry once its evidence is older than 30 days and we haven't re-checked it.
Role guides
- Instructional design: what the work involves and which teaching skills carry over
- Customer success and account management in edtech: what posts ask for
- Learning & development and professional learning: training adults, inside edtech and beyond
How we work
Final Bell Careers is an independent research newsletter. We compile public information and cite it. We don't share personal stories or testimonials, and we don't promise job outcomes. See our disclosure for how the site is funded (right now: it isn't; there are no paid links).
